Inspired by her two sons who hated reading (and their frequent brainstorming sessions about how to trick adults into thinking they were) author, Beth Bacon, decided to publish a book that used their own words against them. She asked Headquarters to design it.
A graphic approach that walks the line between visual and verbal, combined with a minimal, bright color palette makes the book so enjoyable kids don’t realize they’re reading it. The website design is similarly simple and charming, and drives customers to online retailers.
